Vince is often described as an optimist who is loyal, engaging and authentic. A registered psychologist with over 25 years of clinical experience, Vince believes in the importance of truly listening and understanding using his vast experience to engage, collaborate and adapt treatments to make a helpful and real change. Vince enjoys working with clients from various cultural backgrounds and his approach is person centered, warm and empathic.

He has considerable experience working with adolescents, youth and families with moderate to severe presentations, and has also successfully treated clients of all other ages. He has also worked with multidisciplinary teams and extensively with psychiatric inpatient and community services, non-government agencies and varied service providers and health practitioners including psychiatry and general practitioners.

Vince’s mantra “Be true to you, keep trying and do your best” is reflected in his work approach which is tailored and targeted to the individual. He gives a personal touch using therapies uniquely structured or semi-structured based on personal preference. Vince is well versed in various psychological treatments including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Vince completed his Master in Psychology (Clinical Psychology) at University of Western Sydney, Master of Arts at University of Sydney and Bachelor of Arts at Macquarie University. Vince also has a Graduate Certificate in Counselling and recently co-authored an article on early intervention in obsessive compulsive disorder in Comprehensive Psychiatry.

Vince loves spending time with family, especially watching his children participate in various activities and sports. He also loves making things and working on the house whether it be the garden or other odd jobs. He also enjoys learning from others and understanding experiences, our likes and our joys – especially the differences we share!
