Madison is a down to earth person who aims to help people work through their concerns and goals in a safe and supported way. Madison’s calm and empathetic nature helps her to create a comfortable, judgement-free environment where clients can feel heard and understood.

Madison understands that all people are unique and have individual needs which she takes into account when working with clients. She works collaboratively with clients and uses evidence-based strategies to help them achieve their goals.

Madison has a special interest in working with children and young people to support them during the developmental period of their lives whilst they transition to adulthood. Madison also has experience working with adults.

Madison has worked with a range of presentations including Anxiety, Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, eating disorders, oppositional defiance disorder, Bipolar disorder, Intellectual Disability, autism spectrum disorder and general stress.

Madison has knowledge and experience with interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Family-Based Therapy for eating disorders, Mindfulness, Parent Child Interaction Therapy.

Madison also has skills in psychometric testing and research.

Madison completed all her psychology studies here at the University of Newcastle, completing her Master of Professional Psychology degree in 2022. Madison has since been gaining experience in private practice.
