Dr Kimberley Wallis is a Clinical Neuropsychology Registrar based in Newcastle, NSW, working from our Hamilton practice.
Kim has a diverse background working with clients of all ages and backgrounds across the lifespan. Her experience includes paediatrics, psychiatry, geriatrics, neurology, and rehabilitation, equipping her with a wealth of experience and varied understanding of neuropsychology assessment.
Kim completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and Doctor of Philosophy (Science – Psychology) at the University of Newcastle. Her PhD research focused on developing a novel measure of social skills for adults with brain injuries or schizophrenia. She further honed her neuropsychological assessment skills by pursing a Master of Clinical Neuropsychology at Macquarie University in Sydney.
Kim is passionate about understanding the relationship between all types of brain injuries and conditions on thinking skills, behaviour, and mood. She is dedicated to ensuring that neuropsychological assessments are offered in a timely manner, regardless of geographical constraints, often working with a multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible diagnoses and treatment plan.
When she’s not working, Kim loves to spend time with her family, her friends and her dogs or hiking in the great outdoors.
